DiverseCity Fellows
DiverseCity Fellows is a one-year action-oriented leadership development program that equips rising city-builders from the public, private and non-profit sectors with new knowledge, skills and connections to address issues that are critical to the future health and wealth of the greater Toronto region. Each year, the Fellows program brings together twenty-five emerging leaders to broaden their civic networks, deepen their awareness of issues facing the region and strengthen their capacity to lead change. DreamNow is a charitable organization that produces ideas that do good for the world.
As a producer, DreamNow brings together people, raises money and plans for the growth of ideas that they believe will do good for the world. Manifesto Community Projects
Manifesto Community Projects is a non-profit grassroots organization working to unite, energize, support and celebrate Toronto’s vibrant and diverse music and arts community, and find innovative ways of working together towards common goals. Manifesto aims to provide a platform and the resources needed to advance the growth of the arts as a tool for positive change on the individual, community and city level. Schools Without Borders
Schools Without Borders is a not-for-profit group with a mandate to support community learning initiatives. SWB works in partnership with grassroots educators and learning communities around the world through two core strategies. (1) PLATFORM: SWB's platform provides training and mentorship to over 25 youth-led educational initiatives in Canada, Brasil, and Kenya. This platform allows educators to focus their energy on providing the highest level of programming while meeting their adminsitrative needs. (2) LEARNING CENTRE: SWB's learning centre in Toronto provides a physical hub for young educators to collaborate and innovate. Thelearning centre also creates a space for "harvesting" what the network is experiencing and transforms those findings into practical solutions and effective strategies.
