THE MISSION: CREATE A COURSE PACK
We read 100’s of articles online and offline, blogs, Youtube videos and memes each week. It may be a cover story on the latest Fast Company magazine or a profile you see online of someone you know that you want to be like. More often than not we will see these articles, read them and then click on the next link or flip to the next article beginning the continuous process of forgetting what we read. The goal of this experiment is to reverse this forgetting process and lay the foundation for a habit that will help you see trends and remember information that you already selected as interesting.

THE MISSION: PROVE YOURSELF WRONG THROUGH FIELD RESEARCH
What is something you have an answer for? It may be something broken in your neighbourhood or something at your workplace that you have a simple solution for which you know can work. What is it? We all have at least something that we know we could fix, solve or repair with the right answer. Write it down.

THE MISSION: SIT QUIETLY IN A ROOM FOR 45 MINUTES
Blaise Pascal the famous mathematician and philosopher was quoted as saying “Man’s inability to be happy is a direct result of him not being able to sit quietly in a room.”
We rarely get silence, quiet, reflection in our hurried rush of daily activities. In order to find a job that makes good, one needs to ask some big questions, think creatively and have time to make sense of all of the people, ideas and opportunities they are going to come across. Silence is the how. Over the years, silence in our lives has been relegated to moments before sleep and to those that practice meditation and yoga-- for the rest of us it is skipped and considered a waste of time.

THE MISSION: SEEK AN ANSWER IN THE WRONG PLACE AND FIND IT
You need to start this mission with a question. It could be a technical challenge or a question about your next career move. Now take a moment and think about the perfect person to answer that question: someone that has lived through a similar experience or maybe an academic that studies your particular area of interest. This is not the person you need to speak with to answer your question. For this mission the goal is to ask someone that is from a wholly unrelated field who you wouldn’t initially imagine as having the answer that you want.
